1. Who we are
DoneNow (donenow.ie) is an Irish local-jobs marketplace, currently pre-launch. Right now this website does one thing: it takes waitlist sign-ups so we can invite people in when we open in Dublin, Roscommon and Leitrim. DoneNow is the data controller for the personal data collected here. You can reach us at info@donenow.ie.
2. What data we collect
Only what you give us in the waitlist form, plus a little technical context:
- Your email address
- Whether you want to join as a worker, a customer, or both
- The kinds of work you're interested in (the categories you pick or type)
- Your county
- Your referral code, and the code of the person who invited you (if any)
- How you found us — referring website and campaign tags (UTM) in the link you clicked
- Your browser's technical identifier (user agent)
We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, payment details or ID documents at this stage — the marketplace is not open yet.
3. How we use it
- To hold your place in the launch queue and show you your position
- To send you a sign-up confirmation and, later, your launch invitation
- To count referrals so people who invite neighbours move up the queue
- To plan the launch — understanding demand by county and type of work
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent — the box you tick when joining the waitlist. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@donenow.ie; we will remove your details.
5. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. It is handled by a small set of service providers:
- Brevo (email delivery) — sends our confirmation and launch emails. Brevo privacy policy
- Vercel (website hosting and cookieless analytics). Vercel privacy policy
- ClarityWeb (clarityweb.ie), based in Ireland, provides website development and hosting services. They may access personal data for technical support and maintenance. Waitlist data is stored in a database on a private server managed by ClarityWeb.
6. How long we keep it
Until DoneNow launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can honour your queue position. If you ask us to delete your details, or if the launch does not go ahead, your data will be erased.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
- See the data we hold about you (access)
- Correct it (rectification)
- Delete it (erasure)
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent
Write to info@donenow.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission — dataprotection.ie.
8. Cookies
This site currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics works without cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
When the DoneNow marketplace launches, we will collect more data (accounts, jobs, payments) and this policy will be replaced with a full version before that happens. Material changes will be announced on this page.
